Doctavian at API World 2026: Intelligent document operations showcased in Santa Clara
Doctavian took the stage at API World 2026 in Santa Clara, demoing deterministic document generation and eIDAS-aligned digital signatures over MCP.
Doctavian, launched in August 2026 by a renowned European software vendor Maven Mule, is an intelligent document operations platform built for organizations that need complete control over their documents and cannot afford operational risk.
Attending as speakers, sponsors, and one of the proud hosts of the conference hackathon, Doctavian's team presented the platform at API World 2026, the world's largest conference dedicated to API & AI technologies taking place in Santa Clara, CA.
On the conference Expo Stage, Ivan Tadic, CTO and Co-Founder of Doctavian and Maven Mule, delivered a live session on deterministic document generation & eIDAS e-signatures over Model Context Protocol (MCP). Ivan walked the audience through the full workflow: a natural-language prompt turned into a generated, signed, and independently verifiable document, all inside a single agent conversation.
For the hackathon challenge, "Generate It Right. Sign It Tight," hosted by CEO Dragan Vujnovic, Doctavian invited teams to bring their messiest real-world document problems and build agents that called Doctavian's API to generate, and where needed, sign, the result. Out of dozens of submitted projects, teams DealForge and Signet were chosen as first and second place winners, receiving cash prizes and Doctavian subscriptions.
DealForge (Chizaram Chukwuka) used Doctavian to build a system that turns messy sales handoffs into trusted, signed agreements. With commercial totals computed deterministically and signature requests sent for a required human sign-off, Doctavian handled document generation and execution, all the way to a signed PDF. Signet (Rajeev Ranjan Chaurasia, Tushar Singh, Prakhar Kumar Singh, and Vineet Malewar) came up with a clever answer to invoice fraud, using Doctavian to generate invoices and the enrollment authorization from templates that loop, calculate, and branch on the underlying data. Learn more
